Chase McCleary is a Multimedia Journalist for the Southern Colorado Region with Rocky Mountain PBS. He recently graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with degrees in Media Studies, Journalism, and Creative Writing (to the minor chagrin of his parents who still ask what “Media Studies” means). Chase has previously worked with CNN and Max, as well as more regionally with the Colorado Office of Film, Television, and Media, the US Olympic and Paralympic Museum, and El Pomar Foundation.
He first picked up a camera as a multimedia journalist with The Daily Californian, UC Berkeley student newspaper. Chase’s work has screened in a number of other contexts as well, including at various film festivals, charity events, and most consistently on his parents’ computers (who still don’t understand Media Studies, but support him nonetheless).
