Amanda Horvath
Amanda Horvath is the Managing Producer at Rocky Mountain PBS. Based in Denver, she reports and produces on a wide- range of topics including housing shortages, immigration, environment and Colorado's untold historical stories and their impact on the modern day.
She joined Rocky Mountain Public Media in June of 2021 after seven years working in commercial TV news as a producer in Denver and in Iowa. Amanda grew up in Littleton, Colorado and graduated from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa with degrees in broadcast journalism and history. She loves taking her husky on walks and spending time with family and friends golfing, hiking or watching movies.
