Violin Spars Piano: Sophia vs. Thomas

Classicalia is a music competition between some of the best young classical musicians in the world. Hosted by singer Pia Toscano, twelve top young musicians compete in a single elimination challenge judged by internationally-renowned musicians to determine the winners of three categories: 18-25 year-olds, 12-17 year-olds, and kids 11 and under.

Sophia Stoyanovich, a 25 year-old violinist from the United States, performs "Sonata in A major D.574" by Franz Schubert.  Then, Thomas Torok, a 24 year-old pianist from Canada, plays "Sonata Op. 31 No. 3" by Ludwig van Beethoven.  Hosts: Pia Toscano & Arabella Fenyves. Judges: Albert Frantz & Gerald Grünbacher.
